Coming this week: The Global 2013 STEMx Education Conference

This Friday, September 20, Jennifer Hopwood from the Southern Maryland Regional Library Association and I will be presenting a session for the Global 2013 STEMx Education Conference. Our session, titled Informal Library Youth Programs, will focus on the variety of ways public libraries are promoting STEM through programs and readers' advisory, as well as opportunities for collaboration between libraries, educational institutions, and other community players.

 
We'll be presenting at 11 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time, and registration and attendance are free and simple. All sessions, including ours, will be archived for viewing at a later date. I'll also be posting session info and resources here on the blog following the live event.
